Land Buyer

The MF Freeman Group is now looking to recruit a Land Buyer to identify and assist with the acquisition of land for development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To aid and support the Land and Planning Team to source, appraise and negotiate land acquisitions to meet the Company's build targets for residential and commercial projects nationwide.
  2. Operate within key parameters relating to budgeted land investment, contribution and ROCE levels and desired location.
  3. Supporting the Land and Planning Team to obtain necessary Planning Consents to enable projects to be ready for construction
  4. To support the Team to manage consultants to procure all necessary information to be ready to start construction.
  5. To undertake sales function where necessary in onward sale of development opportunities or completed projects.
  6. Undertake administration duties to update various schedules and trackers including maintaining a database of available sites.
  7. Undertake research works to help appraise site constraints, and aid in the research and submission of planning applications.
  8. Any task associated with assisting the development team meeting its divisional objectives.

 Person Specification

Graduate calibre individual with knowledge of planning, building and construction. Must be analytical and possess problem solving skills.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential.  Membership of a professional body such as RICS would be an advantage but not essential.

This role would suit someone with some Land Buying or agency experience, appropriate training will be given to advance residential development knowledge and aid career progression.
