This contemporary new building offer students state-of-the-art educational facilities. Freeman Contracting carried out the groundworks for the multi-million-pound project.
Before building works could commence, significant work was needed to prepare the area ready for the foundations. We worked alongside Envirosoil to
deliver the critical lime stabilisation that helped achieve the project’s low impact build targets. Our local knowledge helped to formulate a plan to level
the challenging site whilst economising on time, fuel, haulage and energy use. We also utilised recycled aggregates and built in a sustainable drainage system.
Despite the challenges of a tight build programme and poor weather, the project was delivered in time for the students’ return to school.
