Locally based Freeman Homes, a division of M F Freeman, ended November with a bang this year! Their latest flagship development, “Woodland View” in Mitcheldean, at the gateway to the Forest of Dean opened to the public last weekend with two days of celebrations.

The exciting new development, The Fairways Retirement Village, situated on Malmesbury Road, Chippenham is steaming ahead. Works commenced on site in December 2011 by Developer Freeman Retirement Living which is a division of the M F Freeman Group, in partnership with MHA, the national charity providing accommodation, care and support services to 15,000 older people and is set to be a tremendous asset to the area.

Freeman Homes toasted to the extraordinary builds, inviting guests to an open day event for the final remaining property. Complete with champagne and canapés provided by The Mill Race, who recently won Wine Pub of the Year for The Midlands and Wales 2013, guests had a chance to take a look at the last exclusive home, while enjoying the finest hospitality.

Freeman Homes is well under way with the construction of the first phase of family homes at Woodland View in Mitcheldean.

The Mill Race in Walford near Ross-on-Wye has been awarded the Gold award in the Gourmet Herefordshire category of the prestigious Flavours of Herefordshire awards. This award was open to any establishment that offers a high standard of cuisine, service and ambience.
