MF Freeman wins 'Business of the Year' title at Gloucestershire business awards ceremony

MF Freeman Ltd has been crowned the ‘Business of the Year’ at a Gloucestershire awards ceremony.

As a finalist of the 17th annual Gloucestershire Echo and Gloucester Citizen Business Awards, held at The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse on Thursday 2nd October, we found themselves triumphant over 3 other companies, who had already beaten off stiff competition to make the shortlist.

To be crowned ‘Business of the Year’ we proved to the panel of judges we had a profitable business that has not only increased potential but has also had a positive impact on Gloucestershire’s economy as a whole. The judges were particularly interested in our diversity and expansion into new markets, including the recent launch of our Retirement Living division which helped steer us successfully through the recession period.

Luke Freeman, MF Freeman’s Joint Managing Director, said: “We are extremely proud and excited to have been crowned Business of the Year. To establish and continue to grow the company over the last 50 years has taken a huge amount of effort and dedication so to win this is a fantastic reward. Given the high number and quality of applications into these awards makes it even more impressive for us to have won. We now look forward continuing our success by focussing on our new projects, including the exciting redevelopment of the old Cadbury’s factory in Keynsham, which we recently purchased.”
