We’ve received some wonderful feedback from St David’s Primary School in Moreton-in-Marsh for our contracting team. The children expressed their gratitude for our work in protecting the school from floods and keeping everyone safe.
The project involved delivering a comprehensive Flood Alleviation Scheme for a school with a history of flooding. Our team installed 1,100 cubic metres of Hydrorock cellular storage, complete with associated drainage, manholes, and a package pump station. We also constructed a new permeable asphalt car park with integrated drainage, and installed a swale and ACO channels to further enhance the site’s resilience.
All of this was achieved while working in a live primary school environment, navigating local traffic restrictions, tight roads, and the busy drop-off and pick-up times. These conditions presented significant challenges, but our team truly showed they were up for it. Their commitment, attention to detail, and care ensured minimal disruption and maximum safety for the pupils.
Thank you to everyone involved for your hard work and professionalism. This recognition is a testament to the positive impact we can have when we work together.
